Dangers of Illegal Hiring

Hello neighbor!

Many local homeowners are hiring illegal aliens, and putting their safety and families at risk. Hardworking, taxpaying citizens are forced to compete with illegal aliens while legitimate small businesses are forced to compete with illegal enterprises that are operated by illegal aliens.

While it may be convenient to hire illegal aliens, it is not safe, nor legal. Furthermore, legal immigrants, taxpaying Americans, our dedicated labor unions and local businesses deserve to be rewarded for playing by the rules. Please take precautions to ensure that the next time you hire someone to work on or in your home, they are following the rules and not breaking the law.

In Albany, I cosponsored the law to deport incarcerated illegal aliens and to ensure that undocumented workers pay their fair share of taxes. We must continue to come together as communities and take action at a local level to disincentivize this practice once and for all.

The time to act is now,
